Прослушал сегодня альбомчик. Впечатление осталось как от типичных британских групп, играющих на гитарах. Струнные партии вообще Sigur Ros напоминают.
Некоторые песни слушал в ожидании какого то вокального "финта" Дэйва, но ничего такого примечательного не услышал, всё как то слилось в единое.
Но Дэйв всё равно молодец время, потраченное на творчество, не проходит зря.

Presence of God / Take / Point Sur Pt.1
- такой надрыв в голосе, такая боль-грусть-тоска, такая душа............проникновенно-чувственный вокал Дейва великолепен до мурашек(как бы это громко не звучало)
первое впечатление от альбома: просто скажу как было - меня чуть не "разорвало" (именно так, другого слова не могу подобрать) от нахлынувших эмоций, ещё от неожиданности, почему-то думалось весь альбом будет Longest Day (вот изначально не понравилась мне эта композиция, жуткое отторжение вызвала
пока вот так...

понравился ли альбом?
оч понравился мне этот неожиданный совместный проект именно за эмоциональное воздействие, эксперимент(правильно depe сказал) удался. да.

То что не для масс однозначно, но материал качественный бесспорно, мне кажется Дэйву всегда хотелось сделать , что то такое, но он всегда ограничен рамками Депеш Мод или каких то продюсеров, удалось ли ему сейчас поностью сделать что он хотел, кто его знает, посмотрим. Мне лично напомнил этот альбом SOFAD, но более теплый, мягкий.

Все-таки классный альбом , как ни крути ...

Пришло не весёлое письмо. Сегодня должны были начаться продажи, но возникли проблемы с напечатанным винилом. Перезаказали на заводе, в общем ждём-с...

Unfortunately there has been an unforeseen delay with this release, Rich from Soulsavers will explain below:

We are very unhappy to let you know there has been a delay to the Vinyl release of the new record.

I'll be totally honest, I did not get to hear a pressing of the vinyl until the last minute and it just was not good enough.

I couldn't allow a sub-standard quality release to be sold & it is being corrected ASAP.

Vinyl is the way I want people to buy our record not CD, so this is very frustrating that this has happened please accept our apologies & hold out for the vinyl just a touch longer. It's the way I think this record should be played.
