Dave Gahan and 'Null + Void' - "Where I Wait" 2017

Что ты хотел сказать, я так и не понял.

Песня записана в 2005 году. Выпущена сейчас в 2017 в соавторстве с Dave Gahan. В чем трабла?!

PS: сколько еще демок осталось за бортом и не были реализованы.

Проблема в том, что песня была на- и записана Айгнером, Филпотом и Дейвом. Курт в этом не учавствовал, потому-что встретился с Дейвом только в 2007 году. К Депеш Моду он имеет отношение только с 2008 года. Я подозреваю, что это разные песни (2004 и 2012).

Довели до ума то, что было написано (текст) в 2005 году и "родили" новый трек. Как тебе такой вариант?

А демки изначального варианта так и не сохранились, чтоб сравнить.

Очень даже возможно.
Просто мне интересно, как он сумел потерять демки своих песен...

Да пылятся где нибудь в компьютере. Может и всплывут, как катушка парикмахера.

“Take It Easy” es el nuevo single de Null + Void, sacado de “Cryosleep“ (HFN, 17), su primer disco.

Null + Void es el alias del suizo Kurt Uenala, productor musical muy prolífico. Su primer álbum, “Cryosleep”, es un LP plagado de contrastes y tensión; un largo recorrido donde la oscuridad se ve atravesada por luces cegadoras y viceversa. Un disco donde las melodías más tristes se desangran entre electrónica poderosa, desnuda y rígida. Por momentos, los recuerdos alegres dan lugar al aislamiento, al arrepentimiento, y de repente, una catarsis entre su música misteriosa y pista de baile. A lo largo del disco, aparecen vocalistas increíbles que van desde Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode), Shannon Funchess (!!!), así como Black Rebel Motorcycle Club y The Big Pink.

Ahora Null + Void presenta nuevo single, que acompaña con videoclip. Se trata de “Take It Easy”, tema en el que participa Robbie Furze de The Big Pink. El corto ha sido dirigido por Aluapa Waymore, producido por Tom Frog y editado por Bryan Betz. Protagonizado por Robbie Furze y la modelo Vivien James, el vídeo se desarrolla en una ciudad futurista donde los recuerdos robados del amor se venden online como pornografía. Un personaje sin rostro en una torre alta vigila la vasta ciudad y, en una habitación oscura, un alma solitaria intenta encontrar la conexión humana a través del recuerdo comprado de una chica.

Null + Void lanza también los remixes de “Take It Easy”, hechos por él mismo. Desde hoy mismo ya se puede disfrutar del single en todas las plataformas digitales. El Null + Void Remix convierte la canción en una pista eléctrica mecanoide que eleva la energía a otro nivel. También se incluye un instrumental de este remix, despojando las voces y dejando mucho espacio para los DJs. Por otro lado, la versión dub funciona como una cara B de algún clásico club de Nueva York. En esta versión se deconstruyen las partes de la pista, trayendo fragmentos vocales en los momentos óptimos.

One of the undoubted highlights of the Null + Void long player ‘Cryosleep’ is the collaboration with Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan.
Null + Void is the project of Kurt Uenala, the Swiss born producer and multi-instrumentalist who has a long history of working with synth legends, and ‘Where I Wait’ further enhances that reputation.
Turning over remix duties to The Hacker - the French producer delivers a typically dark and driven take on the track. A mid paced groove unfolds with tightly programmed arpeggiated synths seemingly barely under control. Gahan’s iconic vocals float over the top, creating a powerful, poignant track.

Also included is a The Hacker’s Dub Remix, strippiung back the vocals into a few dubbed out snippets and echos, and focussing in on the tough groove, courtesy of the tight drums and thick, propulsive bass.
