Notes:
Venue was "small" in as much as the seating area only held 8,000 people. Although it's an
outdoor venue, the seating area is covered. The sound was amazing. Even while recording the
show I knew the audio would be stellar. The crowd was extremely loud but the acoustics of
the venue made the noise travel forward and up, where the sound system pushed back and
basically straight into my binoral audio mics! The bass roll off was absolutely essential
as our sternums were shaking during many of the songs. I was a bit nervous recording as
security were walking all around me but by the end of the show, it was all out and no
problem as everyone was trying to capture with their cell phones.
There was a problem with the video camera problem at end of Just Can't Get Enough caused
slight cut off of Never Let Me Down. I think Sony has these coded to auto write or something
after 90 minutes of continuous recording. I should have stopped at the end of first part of
show but didn't know it would do that!
