00 A Strange Hour

This was the second Recoil show ever (the first one was one day before in Barcelona). It was a great show altought I think some people was expecting more interaction from Alan towards the public (there was just a hello and good bye from his side) and maybe sounds closer to Depeche Mode than "experimental music". The whole performance was named "A Strange Hour" and during this time Alan and Paul Kendall presented projections while playing and mixing music. There was also a special appearance by the frontman of Nitzer Ebb. The venue was very nice and very well located, right next to the Madrid Chamartin train station, one of the main stations in the spanish's capital.

@About the recording

I know is not the best place to tape but I was right in front of the stage (left side). I just edited the beginning and end of the file (the audience chit-chat) and didn't split nothing else because, unlike a conventional concert, this is mean to be a single track (or movie).
