This is the definitive box set edition of Depeche Mode's newly updated 101 documentary concert film and live album, representing the "101 "sth and final performance of the band's "Music For The Masses" world tour, recorded live at the Pasadena Rose Bowl on June 18, 1988.

101, a groundbreaking collaborative documentary, co-directed by the acclaimed husband-and-wife team of D. A. Pennebaker (Dont Look Back) and Chris Hegedus (The War Room) and featuring active creative input from the band, who held an exclusive contest for fans that promised an appearance in a Depeche Mode film as a prize. 101's narrative depiction of contest winners traveling across America to attend Depeche Mode's groundbreaking Rose Bowl concert is a cinematic precursor to the youth culture trend in "reality TV" programming. Depeche Mode's 101 captures the electrifying synergy between the band and their fans.

This new HD edition has been carefully updated with 4k scans of the original film reels. The Blu-ray includes three previously unseen bonus performances of "A Question of Lust," "Sacred," and "Something To Do," as well as the official promotional video for "Everything Counts."

Additional contents include: a 48-page photo book featuring the behind-the-scenes story of the day including special unseen images; A 20 "x 30" replica of the original U.S. theatrical movie poster; A 16-page Anton Corbijn Photo Mode book as included in the original album release; A double CD of the original concert release featuring 20 tracks from the 101 concert; and A Download Card providing access to 4K downloads of the film and bonus performances as well as 24-bit audio files of the 101 concert release.

The two DVDs in this set contain the original extras from the 2003 DVD release of Depeche Mode - 101, available exclusively on the DVDs.

On December 3 Depeche Mode will release a newly upgraded expanded definitive box set edition of 101 documentary concert film and live album chronicling the 101st and final performance of the band's Music For The Masses world tour, recorded live at the Pasadena Rose Bowl on June 18, 1988.

A groundbreaking collaborative documentary, 101 was co-directed by acclaimed husband-and-wife filmmaking team D.A. Для коллекции дисков вроде бы и неплохой вариант, но было бы очень круто, если бы к фильму о концерте сделали полную видео версию самого концерта. Первый раз посмотрел фильм в далеком 1994 году и с тех пор надеялся, что когда-нибудь сделают и сам концерт, как другие live, но не судьба.

Я б купил, но цена £95 пока отталкивает
