Жилетка у ДГ уже желтая от пота. Прикипел к жилеткам. Мне кажется дофига кривляется, понятно, что и эмоции и прочее, но блин... Бесят, сука, меня эти барабаны живьем! Не могу с ними смириться. Флэтчу 2 синта много, хватит и одного аккордеона. Нормуль выступление для натурализованных, несущих демократию и толерантных афро-мексико-и-простоамериконцов.

Depeche Mode live on Letterman or 48 minutes of pure joy!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls…here’s my review of what happened on that memorable night in NYC. I hear lots of different opinions about the show, especially some negativity comes from DM Russian boards. Let me make it perfectly clear – the concert was AMAZING!!! No official video from CBS can justify how good DM sounded that night. The experience was surreal because we got to enjoy the band in such a small, intimate setting – the kind of setting that NONE of us most likely would experience during The Delta Machine tour 2013-2014 because there were only 460 people in the audience as opposed to 10,000 to 60,000 (on average) in venues that they’re going to play. Therefore the quality of sound had no ECHO effect whatsoever and was clear and crisp. It’s hard to say from the CBS video, but believe me when I say that Dave sounded great. People, who know me even slightly, have some idea of how many DM concerts I’ve attended over the years and can confirm that I have a variety of shows to compare J. While the 1st official warm-up concert is scheduled in Nice, France, I would consider this mini-concert as a 1st official gig because of how unique it was. Just think about it: when was the last time you saw DM perform a CONCERT at the TV studio setting?
Here’s the breakdown by songs:
1. Angel – sounded way better than recorded version that we all used to hear from the official release. For the 1st time I actually enjoyed it very much ‘cuz of the live twist they put on it.
2. Should Be Higher – is hands down the best song (for me) out of all I’ve heard so far from Delta Machine – very DM-like and electronic. Dave’s voice on it was just pure!!!
3. Walking in my shoes – love, love, loved it. Please Play it at any concert, anywhere.
4. Barrel of a gun – you can hear ME screaming in the beginning of it. Since Ultra is my favorite album, this was by FAR the best song in entire concert for me. For Over 15 years we’ve been waiting to hear it again live!!!!
5. Heaven – nice and smooth as always, nice vocals as well
6. Personal Jesus – is Personal Jesus (all true fans know exactly what I mean)
7. Soft Touch – new, interesting song……..will have to hear it in recorded version to appreciate better
8. Soothe my soul – for now this is my least favorite one. Right after it, Fletch picked up his jacket and started to walk off the stage as it was over and only when he heard ETS beginning to play, turned around and came back J This song doesn’t do anything for me. We’ll see how it’s going to be later.
9. Enjoy the silence – never gets old, always a winner, especially as the last song it had lots of energy and crowd participation.

Let’s face it: we all anticipate when will DM produce something similar to Black Celebration or Violator or SOFAD. The truth is – NEVER. We all move on in our lives, DM move on in their music…….let’s all embrace the music we love and stop complaining every time we hear something different.

Let’s hope I answered all the curious fans out there. I figured I had to do it because of the amount of emotions and adrenaline this concert produced for me. Soon I’ll be posting photos and videos (just be patient ;) ) And of course, this DM experience would have not been as memorable without my true DM friends, special thanks to Viktoria Rybalov, Favouritedarkness Gahan Dawn Miller David Johnson Layla Josie Rose-Anne Marie Denise Monteiro Rajeev Gill Katrin Albert Alyce Benevides and whoever else I might've forgotten - Love you all, keep DM -ing!!!
